The fact is, cavity reversal is found all throughout the scientific dental literature. However it's commonly referred to as tooth or enamel remineralization. As I looked I found study after study in which both enamel and dentin were remineralizing after being exposed to certain elements and after being placed in certain conditions. 

I also ran across many books of others like myself who had done similar research and had successfully reversed their own cavities without any professional intervention. 

The Real Cause of Cavities (And How to Stop Them Naturally)

After years of research into what actually causes cavities, I discovered something surprisingly simple.

There is a two-part formula behind tooth decay:

Weak teeth + High levels of harmful oral bacteria = Cavities

That's it.

When harmful bacteria in your mouth feed on sugars from your meals, they produce acid. If your teeth are weakened from mineral deficiencies, that acid attacks and breaks down the enamel — leading to decay.

But here's the powerful part:

If that formula causes cavities… then reversing the formula prevents them.

Strong teeth + Low levels of harmful bacteria = No cavities

Once I understood this, everything changed.

The Three Main Bacteria Behind Cavities

Your mouth contains 300–700 species of bacteria. But only a few are primarily responsible for tooth decay:

• Streptococcus mutans
• Streptococcus sobrinus
• Certain Lactobacilli species

If you dramatically reduce these specific strains — and strengthen your teeth at the same time — you create an oral environment where cavities struggle to form and possibly even reverse tooth decay.

That became my mission.

The Hidden Problem: Biofilm

Here's what most people don't realize.

Cavity-causing bacteria don't just sit on your teeth. They protect themselves inside a shield called biofilm — a protective matrix that can be up to 1,000 times more resistant to antibiotics than the bacteria themselves.

If you don't disrupt the biofilm, simply "killing bacteria" isn't enough.

So I searched for natural compounds that could:

✓ Target the three primary cavity-causing bacteria
✓ Disrupt biofilm
✓ Reduce acid production
✓ Support a balanced oral environment

The Natural Compounds That Work

After deep research, I identified powerful plant-based compounds shown to target cariogenic bacteria:

• Lauric acid (coconut oil) – Disrupts bacterial cell membranes
• Carvacrol & thymol (oregano oil) – Inhibit bacterial growth and biofilm formation

Bad bacteria can repopulate surprisingly quickly.

Why Nutrition Is the Missing Piece

Reducing harmful bacteria is only half the equation.

Your teeth are constantly undergoing a process of demineralization (during meals) and remineralization (between meals). Saliva delivers minerals back into your enamel — but those minerals must first come from your bloodstream… and your diet.
